With very little elbow grease, it took all the old paint off of the shoe and prepared it perfectly for dying.

I am glad I purchased this. I am not sure if the dye description listed this product as a required accompaniment. The dye probably would not have absorbed without it on the brand new, heavily coated shoes I dyed. The finished results were "top of the line". I am restoring a $700 leather bag and I wish it had more cleaning and stain removing attributes. So far so good though.

Great product...use in well ventilated area	January 3, 2014

I had previously painted a pair of shoes with a product I bought elsewhere. I am not sure why it happened, but the beautiful paint job started wearing off after wearing shoes once! I was cringing when I thought about how I would get the paint off to redo the shoes, but this product did it quickly and effectively. I was able to dye (not paint!) my shoes immediately and they turned out great!

Seriously does miracles - everything goes away very easy. You are left with this original leather ready for everything.
Two things:
- Take a good absorbent cloth for whipping. Old piece of towel works great. It will get dirty fast.
- MAKE SURE you are in well ventilated area. Garage or outside would work the best.
