SAPHIR Leather Dye

The alcohol-based "Teinture Francaise" dye has been developed for application on leather with a minimum degree of porosity. Only to be used to darken a light color shade. You can compose your own colors and all the dyes are miscible.

I used Saphir Dark Brown (#05) Teinture Dye on a pair caramel/tan Cole Haan chukkas that had become blotchy and discolored. After prepping with Decapant, the dye penetrated very well. Eventually I used 4 light coats which resulted in a near flawless finish. The shoes look fantastic.
