I purchased these laces for my walking shoes. I walk miles every day for exercise. These laces do not slip and force me to stop and tighten them. Theyare strong and I feel that I won't have to worry about breakage any time soon. Thank you

These laces grip better than the original laces on my Wolverine Raiders I bought. They don't loosen through the day. As for longevity, I haven't had them on the boots long enough at the time that this website solicited my review, to have an option yet. Them seem pretty tough.
