I used this shoe stretcher and spray to loosen my cowgirl boots....purchased a man's as my husband can use it too. I am a woman's 10.5, but sometimes can wear a 10 if the boot is made by Frye. This boot was a more narrow toe shape, not pointed and not round either.....but squeezed my toes. Plus the instep area was shallow and too tight on the sides of my foot. The stretcher worked well for the instep, but the toe area I had to stuff rags in the toe box and pretty much saturated for a maximum stretch. This boot was a beat up worn looking style so it didn't do any damage. The stretcher looked as if it would fit into the toe box, but it does not! So if it is the toe are alone, then I would buy a toe stretcher next time. This is a beautifully made, solid wood shoe stretcher that I believe will last several generations! Who would have thought a shoe stretcher could be beautiful? ShoeCare is a wonderful shop.
