My thoughts on this applicator brush.... |

In the past, I have used old worn out cotton t-shirts to put colors and polish on my shoes and boots. When you're done, just throw them away. Problem was, as my shoe tree started to grow, so did my need to keep all my boots and shoes clean, polished and protected. I wasn't going thru my t-shirts fast enough so I thought an applicator would be the best route.
I found it extremely helpful. I first used it with a neutral polish and it worked very well. I then needed to use it with saddle soap, so I washed it out with hot water and dried it with a paper towel and it again worked very well. Especially with the saddle soap. It lathered much nicer than the t-shirts. Then when done, I rinsed it again with hot water and dried it. There was some minor bristle loss, however, I expected as much from a new brush. Now I think I might need more applicators for my dark brown and black polishes!!
