The shoehorn flexes at the bottom, right where I need sturdiness. Not what I really envisioned. Sorry I went through the trouble of ordeering.

The flexible shoe horn prevents difficult bending over to insert the heels into the shoes. It is well made and the loop on the handle allows convenient hanging on a peg/nail. The spring or flexible part is not an absolutely needed, addition, but can help in some cases.
