Started to use this over top of boot uppers recently dyed with "Fiebing's Leather Dye - 4 oz. - Russet color". The initial stroke discolored the dye to a different shade, and remained after drying - it wasn't the color I wanted so disciontinued use. Drys thick and semi-transparent, like a thin coat of glue.
