I had purchased this item before and bought another. It works so well on scuffs and puts such a great shine as well.  I also use it on
belts as a touch up to small scuffs or imperfections.

I didn't use it, yet.  I'm going to touch up the sole edges and heels of the western boots that I dyes with the True Blue dye.  I'll let you know!  I expect that it will work well.

1 of 5 Great size+applicator, yet VERY disappointed w/Brn August 4, 2012
Reviewer: Canuck from Calgary, AB, Canada
Ordered in both black and "brown".

Applies quite nicely through an easy to control "mini dauber"; a nice applicator.

Applied brown to edges of dark brown soles and heels.  On leather sole edges, application takes and holds quite well.  However, on leather heels, it flakes off VERY easily (i.e. with a fingernail), and does much worse even after a single wearing.  Furthermore, "brown" against my dark brown shoes appears more "olive" in colour than brown - providing an unwanted point of contrast.  I am more eager to strip this from my soles than to wear the shoes again.

Didn't even bother with the black, per experience with the brown, though it may be different?

Have also tried Fiebings Edge Kote in Black, and so far very satisfied, and so I am not deterred from the brand.  Thinking of trying the black 0.6oz polish on some old tosser shoes, to see if it is different from what the brown was.

Size is ideal for travel, and the reason I will be trying the black.  Here's hoping.
