To re-dye a worn metallic gray handbag, I ordered some silver dye and shoe cream. When it arrived, I couldn't quite tell if it was the right color. I called and was advised to rub a bit of the shoe cream (not the dye) from underneath the lid on my item. That answered my question. I'm also going to be able to exchange part of an order, very convenient, excellent service!
