I was very disappointed to find that while of excellent quality these laces are far thicker than the pair that was originally in my Kelty Moccasins and I have found it this far impossible to work the laces through my moccains. Basically I was sad that they are so difficult to thread. My stubbornness may carry me through eventually, but I wish it were easier.

Ordered 2 of the the moccasin re-lacing kits to replace some dog-chewed leather laces on LLBean rubber rain moccasins. Kit works perfectly although the laces could stand to be about 6" longer, but are workable. Lace is thicker than the original LLBean laces, which should be a good thing for endurance.

Great product! I used the 40” laces to replace my LL Bean Wicked Good  moccasin slippers. They’re perfect for this and I just had to trim a little off the end. I selected the dark brown laces and they ended up being a little darker than I expected. I will select a lighter shade next time.
