5 of 5 Worked on non-suede leather too October 25, 2019

I used this on a suede-trimmed crossbody handbag, most of which is regular top grain (?) leather.  I hoped it would work on the non-suede and it did.  The original leather color was a red-brown wine color but I wanted it to more closely match a pair of plum-wine suede boots.

I bought a bottle of winetone and a bottle of purple and experimented until I got the shade I wanted.  I'm pleased with the results.  I don't know if suede dye would work on any type of leather, but I was lucky in this instance, as the leather wasn't of the highly polished or shiny finish sort.
