The problem is that the "medium brown" has a very yellow tone to it. I have not gone ahead and dyed a pair of grey Hush Puppies I have that I had intended to try and get to a taupe color because I believe that the high amount of yellow in the dye is going to bring an unsatisfactory result. I have already used the wool daudber included in the package to test a sample on white paper, and I got a very yellow brown color-- not medium brown at all. So my review is poor. I will not be using this product.
