I was hoping for a deep purple dye BUT this was a light lavendar or violet. I was able to use it on another pair of shoes but still need deep purple, if you have it!!!

The name (Tarrago) Color Dye is a misnomer. It does not penetrate into the leather or change the color of the leather fibers, but rather binds to the top of the leather surface like a paint skin. I applied it to a pair of golf shoes as directed, but several spots have peeled/chipped off after only one round.

I just needed a small amount of dye to touch up my pickup seats. Worked perfectly. Most other sites sold in large quanities, which would have gone to waste. Nice selection of colors. Quick shipping.
